Burmese Violetish-Gray Spinel

Plante Jewelers

Lively, genuine spinel is a gem known to only a few.  Before modern technology, spinel was often confused for ruby and sapphire.  Today, spinels in a dazzling number of different hues are so popular!

This spinel has a neutral, violetish-gray hue.  The spinel was discovered in Burma, and has been polished into a cushion-cut.  The spinel weighs 1.24 carats.

This very sparkly gem would make a lovely pendant or ring.  It would pair well with icy white diamonds, or with pastel pink or purple gems.  Visit our amazing collection of colored gemstones and have fun seeing what colors you like!
