Handmade Meadowgrass Cuff With Diamonds

From Massachusetts artist Constance Gildea comes this tapered cuff bracelet. Constance designs and fabricates jewels by hand, in her Western Massachusetts studio. Inspired by the romance of nature, her pieces feature organic forms, colorful metals and sparkly gems.

This big, dramatic bracelet has been crafted in fine silver (.999% pure silver) and finished with a deep gray oxidized patina on the outside. After darkening the bracelet, Constance engraved a motif of wispy, swaying grasses. Tiny, sparkling diamonds dazzle in the background like stars against a night sky. The 16 diamonds have a total weight of .22 carats.

The bracelet has a slight concave profile, and tapers to a soft, round end on either side of the opening. The bracelet will fit a small size wrist, and measures 1 1/4 inches wide at the center front.
