Moonstone Pendant Designed By Plante Jewelers

A one-of-a-kind original, designed by Marcel, and finished in-house by our jeweler, Steve.

Marcel designed this art deco-style pendant to showcase a glowing "blue sheen" moonstone.  The moonstone is genuine, and has been fashioned as a round cabochon, with a high domed top.  It weighs 2.40 carats.  Moonstones are prized for their "adularescence", which is a blue sheen that traverses across the surface of the moonstone.  This moonstone has a mesmerizing blue adularescence, which gleams as you move the pendant.  It has been set into a bezel.

Accenting each cardinal point of the pendant is a bright, round velvety blue sapphire.  The top and bottom sapphires are slightly larger, and each has been set into a bezel.  The four sapphires have a total weight of .21 carats.

An elongated, cushion-shaped rail connects all of the gems, and a tapered bail has been fixed to the top of the pendant.

The pendant has been designed in CAD, crafted in 14 karat white gold, and all of the gems have been set by hand.  The pendant measures 1 inch long by 5/8 of an inch wide and is sold without a chain.
