The pendant is handmade by Rhode Island designer Thea Izzi. The 3-dimensional open fan motif has been crafted by silver and gold bi-metal. Bi-metal consists of a 22K yellow gold sheet that has been bonded to sterling silver. The silver exterior has a lustrous satin finish that has an appealing glow, and the gold interior peeks out for a touch of contrast. A round white sapphire, bezel set in 18K yellow gold, hangs from the fan as a stationary drop. The pendant measures just over a 1/2 inch in length, and comes strung on a 15.5" sterling silver faceted ball chain, with a spring ring clasp.
