A customer favorite! Rendered with life-like detail in precious sterling silver and vivid French enamel, this adorable sea turtle is made extra-special by the addition of a sparkling white sapphire!

The sea turtle features two different varieties of teal French enamel: basse taille and plique-a-jour. The basse taille enamel creates the outer portion of the turtle's shell, and is glass fused over a base of carved silver. The body of the turtle's shell is plique-a-jour enamel, which is similar to stained glass. The plique-a-jour enamel features cells of glass suspended between silver wires, which allows light to pass through. The turtle measures 1 1/8 inches long by 1 inch wide and has a hidden bail.

The sea turtle comes on a sterling silver cable chain with a lobster claw clasp. The chain is adjustable anywhere up to 20 inches long.

Both the turtle and chain have a rhodium finish, so they will not tarnish.
