Blue-Gray Montana Sapphire

Plante Jewelers

Did you know that sapphires can be found in the United States?  This sapphire was mined in the Missouri River, in Montana.  Our gem artist and lapidary, Chris Wolfsberg, hand selected and faceted this sapphire, especially for us.  The sapphire has a calming light bluish-gray color, and has been faceted as a "French blazer cut".  The rectangular sapphire gemstone weighs 1.31ct.  Consider this American stone as a fabulous fashion or engagement ring, or as a sweet pendant enhanced with pearls and diamonds.
