Stylized swaths of ultramarine, rose, green and eggplant purple glisten in this colorful French enamel and sterling pendant. French enamel is glass, that has been fired in a kiln over a carved base of precious metal. Once fired, the enamel takes on a vivid, almost metallic appearance with a high gloss finish. This pendant, inspired by Rio de Janeiro's vibrant culture, has been fashioned as a triangular drop, with a patchwork of carved, concentric lines. The pendant comes on a sterling silver coreana chain, adjustable up to 20 inches long, with a lobster claw clasp. Both the pendant and chain have a rhodium finish, so they won't tarnish. The pendant measures 7/8 of an inch length, excluding the bail.
