An artist's palette of colors is seen in this luscious pair of opal earrings. The opals have been fashioned as oval shapes, and have a fantastic blue and red play-of-color. The opals are doublets, which are composed from slices of genuine opal that have been laminated to pieces of iron stone, the material from which opal is mined.
The opals are set into 14 karat white gold bezels, and drop from pear-shaped white gold tops. The two opals have a total weight of 1.40 carats.
The earrings measure 3/4 of an inch long, and have posts with friction backs.
