A pretty, pear-shaped peridot is the centerpiece of this unusual French enamel pendant. Glass, in warm tones of yellow and gold, is fused to textured sterling silver in a centuries-old technique called "Basse Taille" enameling.
The peridot is August's birthstone, and such a light, lively green.
The fan measures 7/8 of an inch across, and the pendant slides on a sterling silver cable chain that adjusts up to 18 inches long, with a lobster claw clasp.
