This amazing 14K white gold opal and diamond necklace will leave you entranced by its beauty!
The centerpiece of the necklace is an Australian opal doublet, cut into an asymmetric bar shape, with rounded ends. The opal has an amazing play of color featuring medium blue with electric blue flashes and medium to neon green. Depending on which way you gaze upon it, the opal will reveal a different pattern of color. The opal doublet is composed from a slice of genuine opal that has been laminated to a piece of iron stone, the material from which opal is mined. The opal doublet weighs 10.67ct.
Capping the opal at either end is a curved row of tiny dazzling round white diamonds. The 21 diamonds have a total weight of .11ct, with H-I/SI2 color/clarity grades.
The opal is set into white gold, and a white gold wheat style chain is affixed to either end of the opal. The necklace is 18 inches in length, with a lobster claw clasp. The opal centerpiece measures 1 1/2 inches in length.
