Lovely Lotus Pendant

A blushing lotus blossom perches on a crescent moon, in this fun and colorful pendant. The pendant is sterling silver and has been skillfully decorated with luminous French enamel. Enamel is powdered glass, that is fused to the metal by firing in a kiln. The enamel in this pendant is worked in a technique known as "basse taille", in which the enamel is applied over a carved surface.
The pendant has a tapered bail and comes on a sterling silver cable chain, that can be worn at any length up to 20 inches. The chain has a lobster claw clasp and sliding adjustment bead.
Both the pendant and chain have a rhodium finish, so they will not tarnish. The pendant measures just under one inch long, including the bail.
