Special Moonstone And Sapphire Ring

Plante Jewelers

A one-of-a-kind ring, to show off a grouping of unique gemstones!  Marcel designed this ring to feature an oval moonstone, a pair of round sapphires. and two twinkling diamonds.  The ring itself is a blend of sterling silver called "continuum silver", which has very good hardness and resists tarnish.  To showcase the gemstones, Marcel created an Arabesque top, pointed prongs and his signature ultra-flared shank, to balance the top of the ring.

The oval moonstone is genuine, and was discovered in Austria, a historical source of moonstone material.  It weighs 1.89 carats and is a variety called "adularia", which refers to the blue sheen that glows across its surface.  The two round sapphires were discovered in Montana and have light blue color.  They have a total weight of .41 carats.  The two round earth-mined diamonds are ideal-cut, which means they are very, very sparkly.  They have a total weight of .05 carats, with GIA FG/SI1 color/clarity grades.

The ring is a size 7.5 and can be sized up or down.  The top of the ring measures just over 1/2 of an inch long.
