Marcel's Studded Quartz Pendant

A super cool, tourmalated quartz gem inspired Marcel to design this edgy, modern pendant. The pendant was custom made in sleek sterling silver and designed as two interlocking links, one plain, one studded with black spinels, to support the bezel-set quartz. The quartz is clear and has been shot through with black tourmaline needles. The quartz is an oval cabochon, with a high, smooth dome and weighs 14.31 carats. To accent the black and white gem, Marcel had our jeweler, Steve, set square-cut black spinels, upside-down, in a single line, to create a spikey, sparkly line of jet-black gems. The seven genuine black spinels have a total weight of .70 carats.

The pendant measures 1 5/8 inches long by just over 3/4 inches wide and is sold without a chain. Consider wearing the pendant on a silver wire (as shown), a black or colorful rubber or leather cord, or a heavy link chain. Contact us for chain options!
