The Blue Hour Cuff

Plante Jewelers

Designed in Massachusetts by Martha Seely, this striking gemstone cuff glows with the colors of twilight!

The bracelet is crafted as a tapered sterling silver cuff, with a satin finish that allows the gemstones to really pop.  A plaque of 14 karat white gold, with a high polish finish, decorates the top of the cuff.  At the center of the plaque is a mysterious "blue sheen" moonstone cabochon, surrounded by a crescent of twinkling diamonds.  A row of bezel-set round tanzanites flows down each side of the cuff.

The moonstone is genuine, and features a phenomenon called "adularescence".  Named after Mount Adular, where moonstone was first discovered, adularescence refers to the glowing blue sheen that moves across the surface of the moonstone as you tilt it back and forth.  The moonstone measures 7.75mm in diameter and has a high dome.  The 11 earth-mined round diamonds have a total weight of .14 carats with GIA H/SI1 color/clarity grades.  The 10 genuine tanzanites have been faceted as round shapes, and have a total weight of 2.90 carats.

The bracelet measures just under 1 inch wide at the center and 5/8 of an inch wide at the ends.  This bracelet will fit a medium size wrist.
