Each hoop has been set with nine matched round genuine amethysts that have a lovely, medium lilac-purple color. The eighteen amethysts have a total weight of 1.14 carats. The hoops have an oval shape and measure 3/4 of an inch long by 5/8 of an inch deep. The hoops measure 1/8 of an inch wide (across the front-facing profile, where the amethysts are set).
