Handmade "Drops Of Happiness" Sapphire Pillow Studs

From the studio of Tunisian designer Adel Chefridi comes this pair of vibrant stud earrings. Adel works in upstate New York, where he designs jewels inspired by the ancient traditions of his home country, and the balance and harmony of nature.

The earrings have been hand crafted in rich 18 karat yellow gold, with a plump "pillow" shaped motif. A single, round vibrant blue sapphire sits in the middle of each pillow and is surrounded by delicate engraved motifs. The studs have posts with friction backs. The fronts of the studs have a satin finish and the backs have a high polish finish. The studs measure 5/16 of an inch in diameter.
