Deliciously dramatic red garnets come alive with the addition of sparkling diamonds, in this pair of drop earrings. Each earring features a round garnet top, an intermediate round diamond link, and a pear-shape garnet drop. The garnets have checkerboard style faceting, for a unique sparkle. The pear shape garnets are briolettes, meaning they have the same faceting on the front and back. All of the gems are set into bezels, and the earrings have posts with heavyweight friction backs.
The four genuine garnets have a total weight of 2.70 carats. The two earth-mined diamonds have a total weight of .05 carats, with GIA H/SI1 color/clarity grades. The earrings measure just under 3/4 of an inch long.
