A fiercely blazing sun converges with a chill, crescent moonscape in this medallion pendant. The pendant is sterling silver, with French enamel, which is glass fused over a base of carved precious metal. The sun glows amid flame-colored enamel, while the moon sits amongst a blanket of twinkling stars. A flourish of white enamel creates a yin-yang effect. The reverse of the medallion features the same design, in polished silver.

The medallion measures 3/4 of an inch in diameter, and has a fixed, tapered bail. It comes on a sterling silver cable chain, which can adjust up to 20 inches long, with a sliding bead adjustment and lobster claw clasp. Both the pendant and chain have a rhodium finish, so they will not tarnish.
