Handmade Diamond Ring In Platinum

An extravagantly-sparkly diamond ring, designed by Marcel and completely hand-fabricated by our in-house jeweler, Steve.  Forged from bars of platinum, Steve created every detail of this ring by hand, the classical way, without the use of casting.

Marcel designed the ring as a circular plaque, supported by a "cathedral" style shank and bridge.  He chose an icy-white round brilliant diamond weighing .31 carats, to dazzle at the center of the ring. The diamond is earth-mined and has GIA E/VVS2 color/clarity grades.  Set into a circlet around the center diamond and trimming the shank are an additional 20 earth-mined diamonds, .38 carats in total, with GIA E-F/SI1 color/clarity grades.  

The diamonds are each set by hand, one-by-one, with Steve's special technique that draws a bead-style prong directly from the precious platinum.  Steve trimmed the circular plaque in a row of milgrain, and finished the ring with a mirror-like polish.

The ring is currently a size 6 and can be sized up or down.
