The genuine topaz has been fashioned as an emerald cut, and measures 9x7mm. Its calming, medium-light color is known as "Swiss blue".

The two round, brilliant cut diamonds have been set into square bezels, to coordinate with the geometric style of the central bezel. The two diamonds have a total weight of .05 carats, with GIA G/VS2 color/clarity grades. The ring has a knife-edge shank that tapers towards the base.
