Decorative French Enamel Egg Pendant

A detailed egg pendant, designed and crafted in the tradition of Faberge's famous eggs! Our egg is yellow gold vermeil (gold plated over sterling silver) and has been dressed in pale violet-blue French enamel. French enamel is translucent, colorful glass that is fused to precious metal. The enamel has been applied with the "basse taille" technique - over a carved, wavy pattern in the vermeil below. Four tiny, earth-mined round diamonds have been set within flame-shaped mounts, and a border of polished vermeil trims the lower portion of the egg. The pendant has a ring style bail and measures one inch long, including the bail. It is sold without a chain (contact us for chain options!)
