Fairy Tale Violet Spinel Ring

One of Marcel's creations, with a very unusual violet spinel gemstone. Marcel couldn't part with this special spinel, after he spied it in our gemstone dealer's box of treasures. The spinel is genuine, and is faceted as a round shape, with a bluish-violet color and excellent brilliancy. It weighs .73 carats. Marcel chose to set the spinel within a frame of miniature gold beads, set with four tiny but incredibly sparkly diamonds. The four ideal-cut round diamonds are earth-mined and have a total weight of .05 carats, with GIA F-G/SI1 color/clarity grades. The ring has a graduated shank, decorated with even more gold beads. The ring is 14 karat yellow gold and is currently a finger size 7.
