Handmade Oak Leaf Earrings With Colorful Diamonds

From Massachusetts artist Constance Gildea comes this pair of organic oak leaf earrings. Constance designs and fabricates jewels by hand, in her Western Massachusetts studio. Inspired by the romance of nature, her pieces feature organic forms, colorful metals and sparkly gems.

These earrings have been crafted in fine silver (.999%) and 24 karat gold, which has been applied in an ancient Korean technique called "keum boo". The gold has been overlayed onto a stamping of an oak leaf, and two warm diamonds accent each earring. There are four diamonds in total, two are champagne in color and two are cognac (deeper golden brown).

The earrings have 14 karat yellow gold lever backs and measure 2.24 inches long, including the lever backs.
