Intricate Moonstone And Diamond Pendant

A plump, juicy moonstone inspired Marcel to design this intricate pendant.  The pendant is 14 karat gold and was designed using CAD technology and completed with old-world hand setting and finishing techniques.  The moonstone is a variety known as "blue sheen" with an exceptional blue adularescence that flashes across the domed surface of the gem.  The moonstone is an oval cabochon and weighs 3.23 carats.  It has been set within six sleek, claw prongs and rests on a solid oval plate.  Sitting atop the moonstone is a trio of milgrain-set diamonds, each with royal blue color!  The diamonds are round and earth-mined, with VS clarity and a medium blue color, enhanced by irradiation.  The bail of the pendant is tapered, with graduated round, earth-mined diamonds, each with GIA G/SI1 color/clarity grades, set in bead prongs and trimmed in milgrain. The white and blue diamonds have a total weight of .15 carats.
