Opals are one of the most magical gems, with fiery colors and patterns that can hypnotize even the most stoic of observers. Over the centuries, different cultures have always associated opals with hope and luck.
This opal comes from Australia, a land famous for its superb examples of opal. Fashioned as a cabochon, bright green and blue hues dance across the top of the gem. Pierre and Marcel chose the uncut opal and had it polished to fit perfectly into this ring. The opal is a round shape and weighs exactly one carat. It is completely natural, solid, and untreated.
This ring has been made in 14 karat white gold with vintage inspired details and bright, natural diamonds. The opal is set into a bezel, which has been surrounded by a cushion-shape halo of large and small diamonds, all set with milgrain edging. The shoulders of the ring are also decorated in the same manner, with two diamonds on either side. The 20 diamonds have a total weight of .27 carats, with GIA GH/SI1 color/clarity grades. Supporting the top structure of the ring is a floral motif undergallery.
The ring is a size 6.5 and can be sized up or down.
The ring is available for purchase in-store only, and cannot be purchased online. Please contact us for more details!
