The perfect blend of old and new. A fabulous diamond, cut in a style dating back to the 16th century, set in a simple, modern two-tone ring!
The diamond is a rose cut, and has been faceted to have a pear shape silhouette, with triangular facets that create a domed effect. The diamond weighs .50 carats, and has GIA E-SI2 color/clarity grades. Rose cut diamonds have a sparkle and appearance all their own - and are best viewed in person to experience this!
The ring is crafted in 14 karat white and yellow gold, and was hand assembled in our workshop. A narrow bezel, specially shaped for this unusual diamond, secures it above a narrow, domed band with a comfort fit interior. The diamond is oriented across the band, in a fashion known as "East-West".
The ring has a high polish finish, and is a size 7.
