Untreated Color-Shift Sapphire Ring

An amazing treasure, created by Mother Nature!  Over the years, we have collected rare, one-of-a-kind gemstones, from all around the world.  This sapphire is one of those gems.  Fashioned as an oval shape, the sapphire weighs 3.35 carats, and is untreated.  This means that the sapphire displays its natural color and appearance, without any enhancement.  Untreated sapphires are incredibly rare, and only about 5% of mined sapphires are beautiful enough to remain untreated.  The sapphire displays a medium-deep blue color that "shifts" to a slight violet-blue color, depending on the lighting environment.  The sapphire was discovered in Sri Lanka and is accompanied by a GIA report.

To showcase this amazing gem, Marcel commissioned NYC jeweler A.Jaffe to create a platinum ring, set with six scintillating earth-mined diamonds and milgrain details.  The diamonds have a total weight of .46 carats, with GIA G/VS color/clarity grades.

The ring is a finger size 7.5 and can be sized up or down.
